After luxury prison claims, Diddy moved to new prison
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been moved from a New Jersey prison to a federal facility in Pennsylvania after reports of a luxurious lifestyle behind bars, according to an Associated Press report on CBS News.
A person familiar with the matter told the AP on Friday that Combs, 56, is being transferred from FCI Fort Dix to FCI Allenwood Low, a low-security facility south of Williamsport.
The Bureau of Prisons confirmed the move without giving reasons. Combs’ spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, said: “Decisions about inmate placement are made by the BOP, and we are not in a position to speak to the circumstances surrounding this transfer.”
The bureau also rejected a TMZ report that Combs was injured in a fight with another inmate. It told the AP: “The story you are referring to is false and did not happen.”
Combs is serving four years and two months for prostitution-related offences. He lost 41 days of good-conduct credit, pushing his release date to March 2, 2028.
