Alleged drug case: US firm says Tinubu spent millions to hide files

US-based lobbying firm Von Batten-Montague-York has alleged that President Bola Tinubu spent millions of dollars to block the release of records tied to his alleged drug trafficking case, according to Daily Post Nigeria.

In a Tuesday post on its verified X account, the firm claimed Tinubu’s legal team petitioned courts and consulted the FBI and DEA to prevent disclosure, contradicting his public denials of obstruction.

The allegation follows an ongoing Freedom of Information Act lawsuit over DOJ, FBI and DEA records. A US judge recently granted attorney Jeanine Pirro extra time to respond, after Tinubu backed a 10-day extension request.
