Alleged drug trafficking: US Lobbying firm accuses Tinubu administration of misleading int’l community

A United States-based political advisory and lobbying firm, Von Batten-Montague-York, has accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of misleading the international community over a US court case involving records relating to the Nigerian leader.

The firm made the allegation in a statement posted on its verified X account on Friday, following a statement by the Nigerian Presidency on Thursday.

The Presidency had described the ongoing Freedom of Information Act case before a US federal court as a civil records-disclosure dispute, insisting that it was not a criminal case, according to Daily Post.
