APC Senator Fadahunsi tells supporters to kill Accord members, Adeleke Campaign Council reacts
Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Imole Campaign Council has demanded the arrest and prosecution of APC Senator Francis Fadahunsi of Osun East after a viral video showed him instructing party supporters to “kill” Accord Party members in Ilesa ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
“If you see any Accord Party member in Ilesa from now on to the day of the election, kill them,” Fadahunsi allegedly stated in the footage, as reported by Peoples Gazette.
The council, in a statement by publicity chairman Bamidele Salam, called on the Inspector-General of Police and DSS Director-General to immediately arrest Fadahunsi, while also alleging the importation of thugs and fake police officers into Ijeshaland. The council vowed to hold the senator personally responsible for any election-related violence against Accord members.
