Aregbesola: I’ve never slept with another woman…

Former Osun Governor and African Democratic Congress National Secretary Rauf Aregbesola has declared at an ADC campaign rally in Ejigbo, Osun State, that he has never been intimate with any woman other than his wife Sherifat since their marriage — framing the claim as a spiritual covenant made with God.

“Because of your fear, I never had any intimacy with another woman since I married my wife,” Aregbesola said in Yoruba, addressing party supporters ahead of the August 15 governorship election, according to Tribune.

He added: “I told God that next June, we must do it at the government house” — a declaration of confidence that ADC’s Najeem Folasayo Salaam will win the Osun governorship.
