Brennan Johnson undergoes Everton medical ahead of Dwight McNeil swap deal

Everton are closing in on the signing of Brennan Johnson from Crystal Palace, with the Wales international scheduled to undergo his medical on Monday as part of a straight swap involving Dwight McNeil. According to ToffeeWeb, an agreement has been reached between the clubs, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the deal is effectively complete.

Johnson joined Palace for around £35 million in January but endured a difficult spell at the club. Everton hope he can rediscover his Tottenham form, when he scored 18 goals in 51 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign. McNeil will move to Palace after the clubs finalise the medicals.
