Arsenal consider shock January loan for Max Dowman as Arteta drops major hint
Arsenal could allow teenage sensation Max Dowman to leave on loan in January, with Mikel Arteta admitting the club will assess what is best for the youngster. According to GOAL, Arteta said Arsenal will evaluate Dowman’s situation based on his development, available minutes and the needs of the first team.
The 16-year-old recently scored twice in Arsenal’s 4-2 Carabao Cup victory over Ipswich after making history last season as the club’s youngest goalscorer. Dowman turns 17 on December 31, making him eligible for a senior loan from January, with Jack Wilshere’s Luton reportedly interested.
