Jordan Henderson loses it with Emi Martinez during Chelsea debut
Jordan Henderson appeared to confront Emiliano Martinez during his Chelsea debut after the Blues conceded against Brentford on Friday. According to Sports Illustrated, Henderson was visibly frustrated with Martinez’s positioning following Jaidon Anthony’s opener in Chelsea’s eventual 3-0 defeat.
The former Liverpool captain appeared to believe Martinez had moved too far towards the far post from a corner, leaving the centre of the goal exposed as Anthony headed home from close range. The defeat extended Chelsea’s Premier League run without a clean sheet to 21 matches, while Martinez has conceded 10 goals in his first four appearances for the club.
