Arsenal make Viktor Gyokeres transfer decision Amid Barcelona interest

Arsenal have no plans to sell Viktor Gyokeres despite growing interest from Barcelona, according to Metro. The Spanish champions are reportedly considering the Sweden international after Atletico Madrid refused to negotiate over Julian Alvarez. Barcelona have yet to contact Arsenal or Gyokeres’ representatives but are expected to make an approach.

Arsenal, however, intend to keep the 28-year-old and believe he can improve during his second season at the Emirates. Manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly satisfied with his contribution and values his physical qualities. Arsenal could still strengthen their attack before the September 1 transfer deadline, with Victor Osimhen among their targets.
