Atiku files new NYSC certificate suit against Tinubu

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has filed a fresh suit at the Federal High Court, Abuja, seeking to disqualify President Bola Tinubu from the 2027 presidential race over an alleged NYSC certificate discrepancy.

As reported by Legit.ng, Atiku claims the name on Tinubu’s NYSC certificate reads “Tinubu Bola Adekunle,” differing from his official name, and argues this breaches constitutional provisions.

However, the case’s first hearing before Justice Inyang Ekwo could not proceed on Tuesday, as Atiku’s lawyer said he had not successfully served Tinubu with the court summons.

The judge adjourned proceedings to September 28 for continuation.
