Bacary Sagna warns Bradley Barcola against Liverpool move
Former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has questioned Bradley Barcola’s decision to join Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain, warning that the move may not represent the best career choice for the France international. The 23-year-old winger is reportedly heading to Anfield in a deal that could reach £120 million, according to Liverpool Echo.
Sagna believes Liverpool’s struggles last season make the timing of Barcola’s move questionable, despite acknowledging the club’s stature. The former France international said Liverpool remain one of England’s most respected clubs but described the team as being in a recovery phase. Barcola had also attracted interest from Arsenal before Liverpool advanced their pursuit.
