Ballon d’Or 2026 top 10 ranked
The race for the 2026 Ballon d’Or is intensifying ahead of the October ceremony, with Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane emerging as the frontrunner after an extraordinary 61 goals in 51 appearances — the best season of his career.
According to Vanguard, Kane leads a star-studded shortlist that includes Spain’s World Cup-winning midfielder Rodri, Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé — who claimed the World Cup Golden Boot — and teenage Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal, 19, who recorded 41 goal contributions last season.
Lionel Messi remains in contention for a record ninth award despite Argentina’s World Cup disappointment, while Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham, Michael Olise, Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia complete the top 10 contenders.
