Barcelona sign Rodri from Manchester City in £65m deal

Barcelona have completed the signing of Manchester City midfielder Rodri in a deal worth around £65m, according to the BBC Sport. The 30-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with the Catalan club, ending his seven-year spell at City. Rodri made 298 appearances and won 12 major trophies, including four Premier League titles and the 2023 Champions League.

His final two seasons were affected by injuries, although he returned strongly at this summer’s World Cup, where he was named player of the tournament as Spain lifted the trophy. Barcelona reportedly secured his approval before negotiations with City.
