Bayern Munich drop points against Augsburg after dramatic Bundesliga draw

Bayern Munich missed the opportunity to move top of the Bundesliga table after being held to a dramatic draw by Augsburg on Saturday, October 10. According to Bayern Strikes, Vincent Kompany’s side were stunned by an early goal following a mistake by goalkeeper Manuel Neuer before fighting back twice to secure a point.

Luis Diaz had a spectacular bicycle kick ruled out for offside, while Harry Kane assisted goals for Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown. Bayern also suffered further frustration as multiple attacking efforts were disallowed. The result left Bayern second with 11 points, two behind Borussia Dortmund.
