Bayern’s Musiala reveals neurological condition after fainting in two straight games

Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala has revealed he is receiving treatment for a neurological dysfunction after fainting during two successive pre-season matches.

According to The Athletic, the 23-year-old collapsed shortly after coming on against Heidenheim on Tuesday, days after passing out during a friendly against RB Leipzig.

Musiala said doctors diagnosed him with temporary, brief absence seizures linked to the neurological condition, describing them as treatable.

The Germany international reassured supporters there was no further health risk and said neurologists had cleared him to continue playing football. Bayern have not confirmed whether he will feature against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
