Biden: Radiation treatment for prostate cancer ‘worked as intended’
Former U.S. President Joe Biden is reportedly responding positively to treatment for prostate cancer, according to The Hill.
Biden, 83, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in May 2025 after doctors discovered a prostate nodule. His office said at the time that the cancer had spread to his bones but remained hormone-sensitive, allowing for treatment.
The latest update indicates that his treatment has produced encouraging results, offering some positive news about his health following the serious diagnosis. Biden has continued receiving medical care while maintaining a relatively low public profile since leaving office in January 2025.
His diagnosis has drawn widespread attention, given his age and the advanced stage of the disease.
