Billionaire Razaq Okoya’s alleged first son begs for forgiveness after 40 years of separation
Fatai Okoya, who claims to be the first son of billionaire businessman Razaq Okoya, has publicly begged his father for forgiveness after more than 40 years of estrangement.
According to Peoples Gazette, Fatai made the appeal in an open letter circulating online and during an interview with blogger Yeye Kudi Court Room.
He claimed their disagreement began after he married a woman his father disapproved of.
“More than four decades have passed, and today, I write with a humble heart, putting aside all pride to say: Dad, I am truly sorry. Please, find it in your heart to forgive me,” he wrote.
Fatai said previous attempts to reconcile through relatives and friends had failed.
“No matter what has happened, you remain my father, and I will forever be your first child,” he added.
He expressed hope that they could rebuild their relationship before losing more time together.
Razaq Okoya, founder of the Eleganza Group, has not publicly responded to the appeal.
