Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso gives Mudryk update amid Leeds interest

Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso has refused to rush a decision on Mykhailo Mudryk’s future amid reported interest from Leeds United. The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that Leeds remain in talks over a possible season-long loan for the Ukrainian winger after Chelsea rejected an initial proposal. Mudryk, who is training away from Chelsea’s first-team group, is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Asked whether he would feature against Fulham, Alonso said there was still time to decide and insisted the club would make the call at the appropriate moment. Leeds are understood to face competition for Mudryk’s signature, with Strasbourg also reportedly interested.
