Chelsea’s €45m Lamine Camara bid puts Monaco under pressure

Chelsea have made a €45 million proposal for Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara as they prepare for the possibility of Enzo Fernández leaving Stamford Bridge according to a report by HF World. The offer has reportedly been viewed as below Monaco’s valuation, but negotiations remain ongoing, with Camara understood to be interested in joining Chelsea.

The move has gained importance after Manchester City opened discussions over Fernández, prompting the Blues to explore alternatives. Chelsea also attempted to sign Roma midfielder Manu Koné, but Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini is keen to retain the Frenchman and considers him an important part of his squad. Camara, 22, joined Monaco from Metz in 2024 and has continued to develop his reputation in Ligue 1.
