Christos Tzolis apparent hamstring: Latest star to get injured on international break
Tzolis, 24, started for the Greeks in the crunch Nations League clash against the Netherlands in Salonika but only lasted 18 minutes.
The winger saw a goal ruled out on 13 minutes after team-mate and Benfica star Vangelis Pavlidis was deemed to have interfered from an offside position.
However, the Greece international fell on the ground just five minutes later with an apparent quad knock.
The forward was checked by the hosts’ physios and appeared to be devastated as he had both his hands on his face.
And it was quickly deemed that the Arsenal star couldn’t continue after his fiery start.
