Dani Ceballos agrees three-year Betis contract as late registration race begins
Dani Ceballos is on the verge of completing his return to Real Betis after reaching an agreement on a three-year contract with the Spanish club, according to GOAL. The midfielder is expected to sign in the coming hours after pushing to leave Real Madrid despite having one year remaining on his contract.
Betis have reportedly agreed terms with Ceballos, including an option for a fourth season, which would make him one of the club’s highest earners. However, the Andalusian side must create room in its wage budget to register him. While Ceballos can join as a free agent after the transfer window, his Champions League registration appears unlikely because UEFA’s deadline is Wednesday.
