Defence Minister accuses El-Rufai of deliberately planning killings in Southern Kaduna

Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa, has accused former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai of deliberately planning the killing of people in Southern Kaduna, describing his administration as having deeply divided the state along religious and regional lines, according to a Daily Post Nigeria report.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Musa said residents remain “very pained” over killings recorded during El-Rufai’s tenure, noting the former governor openly admitted to paying bandits.

He credited Governor Uba Sani with restoring unity within a year, though acknowledging the process is “not 100%” complete.
