Diddy set for earlier prison release after latest date change
Sean “Diddy” Combs is now scheduled to leave federal prison earlier than previously expected after officials moved his release date forward again.
According to the Daily Mail, the 56-year-old music mogul’s new discharge date from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey is February 5, 2028, based on Federal Bureau of Prisons records.
His release date had previously been listed as February 20, 2028, after several earlier changes.
Combs is serving a 50-month sentence following his 2025 conviction on two counts of transporting people for prostitution. He was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
The Bureau of Prisons has not publicly explained the repeated adjustments, citing privacy, safety and security concerns surrounding individual inmates or details concerning their release plans.
