Don’t feel betrayed by Adeleke’s support for Tinubu, aide tells Osun residents
According to a report by Vanguard, Special Adviser to Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke, Olawale Rasheed, has dismissed claims that Osun residents feel betrayed by the governor’s endorsement of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, saying the backing predates Adeleke’s own election victory.
Speaking on Arise TV, Rasheed said the endorsement was driven by a desire for development, citing federal road projects already underway, including the Ilesa-Ibadan, Osogbo-Ibadan, and Gbongan-Osogbo roads, as proof of dividends from the governor’s political alignment with the president.
