Finally, APC candidate Oyebamiji breaks silence after Osun loss

All Progressives Congress governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji has broken his silence following his defeat in the Osun State governorship election, saying he respects INEC’s declaration of incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke as winner while expressing support for his party’s ongoing review of the election outcome.

In a statement posted on his verified X handle on Tuesday, as reported by Daily Post, Oyebamiji thanked APC supporters and party leaders for their commitment throughout the campaign.

“Although we had hoped for a different outcome in the election, in the meantime, we respect the position of the electoral umpire, and I totally support the decision of our party in its ongoing review of the outcome of the election,” he said.

Oyebamiji vowed to continue championing the values his campaign represented, saying the causes he stood for remained alive beyond the election.
