Edo APC Chair: If you block 2.5m votes for Tinubu , you’ll get ‘AK-47 fire’(VIDEO)
Edo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Jarrett Tenebe, has threatened “AK-47 fire” against anyone who obstructs the party’s plan to deliver 2.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.
According to Daily Trust, Tenebe made the remark while addressing supporters, saying invoking “Holy Ghost fire” would be heavier, while the “General Purpose Machine Gun” spirit was lighter.
“So anybody who refuses, who wants to stand in our way of not getting the 2.5 million votes we want to give to Mr President, AK-47 fire,” he said.
Tenebe said critics and opposition figures had questioned how Edo State could produce the promised votes.
He also claimed Governor Monday Okpebholo had proved sceptics wrong during the last local government elections, where the APC recorded more than two million votes.
Tenebe said the result demonstrated the party’s mobilisation strength and reinforced its confidence in reaching the 2.5 million-vote target for Tinubu’s re-election campaign in 2027.
