Eight Man Utd stars facing uncomfortable dressing room if Roy Keane succeeds Carrick
Eight Manchester United players could face an uncomfortable reunion if club legend Roy Keane replaces Michael Carrick as manager, according to a report by the Daily Mirror.
Former teammate Quinton Fortune praised Keane’s leadership qualities, stating: “I have the utmost respect for Roy. If he speaks out, it’s because he wants excellence.”
”Roy Keane coaching at Man Utd would be a lot of fun. I was fortunate to play alongside Roy, and he was an unbelievable leader. He pushed every team to success and raised everyone’s standards.”
”I thoroughly enjoyed working with him in training and matches because he demanded excellence and made you a better player.”
However, Keane’s outspoken punditry could create immediate tension. Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martínez, Diogo Dalot, Kobbie Mainoo, and Mason Mount have all faced harsh critiques from the Irishman in recent seasons.
