Enough of “civil service state” tag — Adeleke unveils second-term vision

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, says he is determined to shed the state’s “civil service state” tag, pledging to drive industrialisation and attract major investors in his second term.

According to Tribune Online, Adeleke made the remarks on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Sunday, days after his August 15 re-election victory over APC’s Bola Oyebamiji.

He cited plans for a free trade zone, airport completion, and infrastructure expansion as priorities, while also pledging reconciliation with political opponents and continued support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
