Estevao breaks silence on lack of Chelsea minutes under Xabi Alonso
Chelsea winger Estevao has addressed his limited playing time under head coach Xabi Alonso after returning to Brazil duty. According to GOAL, the 19-year-old has played only 148 minutes across six appearances this season, starting twice.
Despite his reduced role, Estevao has refused to criticise Alonso, insisting he remains focused on improving in training and taking his opportunities when they arrive. The Brazilian said Chelsea have several quality attacking players and that he can only control his own performances. Estevao registered eight goals and four assists in 36 appearances last season.
