Ex-Governor El-Rufai deliberately planned Southern Kaduna killings – Defence Minister Musa

Minister of Defence Christopher Musa has accused former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai of deliberately orchestrating killings in Southern Kaduna during his tenure, making the explosive allegation while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Thursday.

According to Daily Post, Musa claimed El-Rufai’s administration created such deep divisions between northern and southern Kaduna communities that residents on both sides could no longer move freely across the state.

The minister praised current Governor Uba Sani’s efforts to restore unity and rebuild inter-community trust in the state.

The allegation comes as El-Rufai remains in detention facing multiple charges before the ICPC and DSS. El-Rufai has not yet publicly responded to the minister’s claims.
