FBI finally submits Bola Tinubu’s criminal records…

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has submitted records relating to President Bola Tinubu’s 1993 drug-trafficking and money-laundering case to a US federal judge, court filings have shown.

According to Peoples Gazette, the FBI hand-delivered the records on August 28 under seal and for Judge Beryl Howell’s review alone, following a court order.

The submission followed repeated delays by the bureau in responding to a Freedom of Information Act request filed by transparency campaigner Aaron Greenspan in 2023.

The FBI had cited Tinubu’s privacy rights in opposing the release, while the President also sought to block disclosure of the records.
