Ferran Torres reveals controversial difference between PSG and Barcelona

Former Barcelona forward Ferran Torres has risked the anger of the club’s supporters after describing his €50 million move to Paris Saint-Germain as “a step forward” in his career. According to Forbes, Torres praised PSG manager Luis Enrique and sporting director Luis Campos for their confidence in bringing him to the European champions.

The Spain international said he was determined to win trophies with his new club and improve after arriving in Paris. Torres is also set to face Barcelona in the Champions League on October 20, admitting the fixture will be “special” because of his four-and-a-half years at the Catalan club. Barcelona did not directly replace him, with Raphinha moving into a central attacking role and making an impressive start to the season.
