Frank Lampard wants Coventry City to keep Championship-winning spirit
Frank Lampard has urged his revamped Coventry City squad to preserve the spirit that secured their Championship title last season, according to Coventry Observer. Coventry have added six players, including Carl Rushworth, Frank Onyeka, Aurele Amenda, Loum Tchaouna, Caleb Yirenkyi and Gustavo Hamer, as they prepare for their Premier League return.
Lampard acknowledged the challenge ahead but stressed the importance of integrating the new arrivals without losing the squad’s identity. Coventry begin their campaign against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on August 21, with Lampard hoping his side can make a strong impression on their return to England’s top flight.
