Hunter Biden says he ‘may have to’ run for president
Hunter Biden has left open the possibility of running for president in 2028, saying he “may have to” seek office if he receives the endorsement of radio host John Catsimatidis. According to PEOPLE, Biden made the comments during a Sunday interview on WABC’s The Cats Roundtable.
The 56-year-old initially praised Democratic governors including Gavin Newsom, Andy Beshear, J.B. Pritzker, Josh Shapiro and Wes Moore as potential future presidential leaders. Biden also discussed healthcare, wages, wealth inequality and the importance of respecting the Constitution and rule of law.
However, he did not formally announce a campaign, emphasizing that his main focus remains addiction recovery and supporting Americans struggling with substance abuse.
