Pep Guardiola has broken his silence following Manchester City’s guilty verdict over breaches of the Premier League’s financial regulations, delivering a defiant message of support to the club and its supporters, according to TNT SPORTS.

The former City manager, who left the club in the summer, posted a picture alongside CEO Ferran Soriano on Wednesday and insisted he remained firmly behind the club.

“I am here; more than ever,” Guardiola wrote, adding that he would continue to support the owner, chairman, Soriano, players, staff, Enzo Maresca and the supporters. He also declared: “We will get through this together. I love you all.”
