I had no alliance with ADC during Osun poll — Adeleke

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has denied having any electoral agreement with the African Democratic Congress, dismissing claims that the party helped secure his re-election.

According to PUNCH, Adeleke said the ADC was never part of the coalition that supported his campaign before or during Saturday’s governorship election.

The governor credited God, Osun voters and political partners for his victory.

Adeleke, who secured 511,067 votes against APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji’s 444,815, thanked his supporters while declaring that he would govern all Osun residents regardless of political affiliation, religion or race following his re-election victory.
