I have been treated unfairly, targeted in South Africa — Chidimma Adetshina
Former Miss South Africa contestant Chidimma Adetshina has said she was “treated unfairly and targeted” amid her ongoing legal battle over citizenship and possible deportation. According to Punch Newspapers, Adetshina spoke in a video shared by eNCA after the Cape Town Regional Court adjourned her case to February 27, 2027.
The Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 winner maintained she was born in Soweto and had followed due legal process to establish her status. She urged South Africans to reject xenophobia and misinformation, invoking the spirit of Ubuntu, and thanked her family and legal team for their continued support.
