“I want to fight you”: Man attacks officer, ends up battered in mugshot

A Florida man was left with a swollen, bloodied face in his mugshot after attacking a police officer inside Broward Health Medical Center on Aug. 29.

Ronald Jeffrey Johnson, 51, allegedly yelled at staff in the Emergency Department before turning on the officer, shouting “I want to fight you” and charging at him, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, via New York Post.

Johnson now faces multiple charges, including aggravated battery on an officer, and was also wanted in Georgia over terroristic threats.
