Police probe deaths of CCC evangelist, wife after alleged domestic fight in Ogun

A Celestial Church of Christ evangelist, Abidemi Odukoya, and his wife, Adenike, have died in separate circumstances following an alleged domestic altercation in Akinode/Ibogun, Ogun State.

According to PUNCH Metro, the couple reportedly fought on August 25, leaving Adenike unconscious and injured while Odukoya allegedly fled. Community members later found the woman in a pool of blood, while Odukoya was reportedly struck by a vehicle in Ifo and taken to hospital, where he died.

A relative alleged the couple had a history of domestic disputes. Adenike was reportedly buried on the day of the incident, while Odukoya was buried on September 2.

Police confirmed investigations were ongoing.
