The Nigerian president said their discussions reaffirmed the strong friendship between both countries and their shared commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and developing a mutually beneficial partnership.

Tinubu also thanked Macron for his hospitality and friendship.

Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga said the Thursday night dinner reflected the enduring relationship between Nigeria and France and their commitment to strengthening cooperation.
