Insecurity: VeryDarkMan refuses to hand evidence to police, demands court trial

Social media activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has refused to submit evidence to police backing his allegation that some security personnel aid kidnapping and banditry, insisting he would rather present it in court, Punch reports.

Reacting to a police invitation, Otse said his lawyers were ready and challenged the Force to charge him if they believed he had committed an offence.

He maintained that police, military, immigration and customs officials were complicit in insecurity, while also calling for improved welfare for police officers to strengthen national security.
