James Maddison injury blow deepens Tottenham’s early season crisis
Tottenham Hotspur have suffered another injury setback, with James Maddison reportedly facing up to two weeks out after fracturing his shoulder. The midfielder sustained the problem during Spurs’ 3-0 Premier League defeat to Brentford after coming off the bench. An MRI scan reportedly revealed a small fracture, adding to manager Roberto De Zerbi’s growing selection problems.
According to EPL Index, Maddison only returned to competitive football in May after missing almost the entire previous campaign with an ACL injury. Tottenham are already without several key players, including Xavi Simons, Wilson Odobert and Dejan Kulusevski, while others remain doubtful.
