John Ternus takes over as Apple CEO

John Ternus takes over as Apple’s chief executive on Tuesday, ending Tim Cook’s 15-year run, Channels Television reports. Ternus, 51, who joined Apple in 2001 and rose to senior vice president of hardware engineering, will lead a company that dominates smartphones but trails rivals in AI.
