Judge Judy set to retire from TV courtroom…
Sheindlin’s representative told Fox News that she is passing the gavel to her son, Adam Levy, whose new courtroom show “Adam’s Law” premieres in national syndication on September 14. Sheindlin said she has “other things of interest” and no longer wants to do hair and makeup, though she intends to keep her message reaching audiences.
Levy, a Hofstra Law School graduate and former Putnam County district attorney, previously starred in the Prime Video show “Tribunal Justice.” Sheindlin’s original “Judge Judy” ran for 25 seasons from 1996 to 2021, reaching an estimated 10 million viewers at its peak.
