Kemi Adeosun’s husband Anthony dies

Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun, husband of former Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun, has died at the age of 62 in Lagos State.

His passing on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, was confirmed in a family statement made available to PUNCH Online, signed by Rev. C. A. Adeosun on behalf of the family.

“Niyi was a distinguished businessman and a devoted Christian whose integrity, generosity, and steadfast faith touched the lives of all who knew him,” the statement read.

He is survived by his wife Kemi, their children and siblings, including Kuramo Capital founder Adewale Adeosun. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
