Klopp takes cheeky swipe at Xavi ahead of Germany vs Netherlands

Jurgen Klopp has aimed a playful dig at Xavi ahead of Germany’s UEFA Nations League clash with the Netherlands on Thursday according to GOAL. Speaking before the match, Klopp noted that both managers were appointed recently and have had limited time to work with their squads.

However, the former Liverpool boss joked that he knows more Dutch players personally than Xavi, who is beginning his tenure as Netherlands coach. Klopp also admitted Germany are still uncertain about how their opponents will line up but promised his side would aim to play good football and be “a bit surprising”.
