LIST: NAF releases names of 25 victims in Ondo air crash
The Nigerian Air Force has released the names of 25 people — five crew members and 20 passengers — killed in Monday’s aircraft crash in Igbokoda, Ondo State, according to a statement by Director of Public Relations Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame.
The aircraft was on a routine Benin-to-Lagos mission when it crashed, with no survivors confirmed despite immediate search-and-rescue efforts. Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke condoled with the families and ordered a full investigation. The NAF urged the public to avoid speculation and unverified reports, and announced a condolence register at its Abuja headquarters for officials and sympathisers.
