LIST: Nigerians who forfeited assets to government…
Several Nigerians, mostly former public officials, have forfeited monies and properties to the Federal Government following EFCC-led prosecutions and court rulings.
Notable figures include ex-CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele ($2.045m and multiple properties), former Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke ($153.3m across accounts), ex-NSA Sambo Dasuki, and former First Lady Patience Jonathan (N9.2m and $8.4m).
Others named include ex-governors Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, Joshua Dariye, Jolly Nyame, and Chimaroke Nnamani, alongside ex-security chiefs Alex Badeh and Adesola Amosu.
According to The Peoples Gazette, the forfeitures reflect ongoing anti-corruption efforts to deepen public trust in Nigeria.
