Liverpool face Florian Wirtz decision after Bournemouth win
Liverpool may have to make a difficult decision over Florian Wirtz after his latest underwhelming display in Sunday’s 1-0 Premier League victory at Bournemouth. According to Daily Express, the Germany international struggled to influence proceedings and was substituted with 20 minutes remaining.
Wirtz reportedly recorded the lowest passing accuracy among Liverpool players during the first half and was fortunate not to be punished after a misplaced pass early in the second period. Alexander Isak eventually scored the decisive goal, while Cody Gakpo impressed in the build-up. With Manchester City next, Wirtz’s starting place could come under serious scrutiny.
