Liverpool handed injury blow ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

Liverpool will be without several players when they host Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Saturday, with Federico Chiesa and Joe Gomez among the absentees. According to Liverpool.com, Chiesa remains sidelined after suffering a minor muscle injury during pre-season, while Gomez continues his recovery from a knee problem.

Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni are also unavailable for the hosts. Forest will miss Ibrahim Sangare after he sustained a calf injury in training, but Morgan Gibbs-White and Ryan Yates have been declared fit. Neco Williams is also expected to recover from a head injury in time for the fixture.
